Account Deletion

You're always in control of your Kleos account, including deleting it permanently, right from the app.

How to delete your account

Open Kleos and go to:

Settings → Delete Account

You'll see two confirmation steps explaining that the action is permanent before anything is deleted - this is deliberate, so it never happens by accident.

What gets deleted

• Your account and profile (username, display name, bio, avatar, cover photo)
• Every post you've made and their photos
• Every comment and like you've left
• Your follows and followers
• Your notifications and push notification tokens
• Reports you've filed and users you've blocked

Your earned achievement badges are tied to your account, so they're deleted along with it - deleting your account removes everything associated with it, with nothing left behind under your identity.

What's retained

Nothing is retained under your identity once deletion completes. In rare cases, a photo file may briefly remain in storage with no account attached to it if a cleanup step fails due to a transient error - this is a known, low-risk edge case, not a deliberate retention policy, and such an orphaned file can never be traced back to you once your account is gone.

Can't access the app?

If you can't sign in to request deletion yourself, email supportkleos@gmail.com from the email address on your account and we'll help you get it deleted.
